Meet the “design options” freak
A motivational product designer based in Singapore, she has transitioned from a creative role in digital agencies to product design over the past ten years. She has collaborated with clients like Grab, Temasek, Rolls Royce, MAS, Standard Chartered Singapore, OCBC, EcoWorld, Khazanah, BMW Malaysia and others.
She was also fortunate to have experienced working with a startup team and to have competed as a team at AngelHack World in Silicon Valley.
Her approach has been widely regarded as an enthusiastic path to growth, both as a designer and as an individual.
“Your dedication to your profession (design) is really inspiring! Really impressed by how you produce your work and you are a good example for me to work harder and be better. But in an overall, you will do the best in anything you do.”
A list of books that will help you grow & boost your confidence.
When it comes to reading, you don’t have to finish a book in a day, nor a week. You don’t have to rush your own timeline to compete with others. Take your time.
Here’s my recommended book lists / must read if you’re:
• Struggling to look for a direction and your purpose
• Tired of pleasing every single one
• Wondering why your social engagement does not convert into hot leads
• Starting to lead a team or stepping into a managerial role
• In the position of resolving conflicts (be it team or project)
• Having trouble to estimate or manage a project
It was all started early in 2018 (yes those new year resolutions). I first came across Michelle Poler’s 100dayswithoutfear which she embarked on a project where she faced 100 fears in 100 days. Like most people on earth (no offence), I was motivated but ended up doing nothing about it. That “I wished / I hoped / I wanted” were just simply another to-do-list in my head. Entering the second half of 2018, I realized I needed to do something about it. So, I broke it down into smaller milestones – where I faced 10 fears in 10 days.
