Fear05– No puking in BJJ (Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu) class!

What's the challenge?

To attend BJJ class (again).

What are you afraid of?

Afraid of puking right away 🤮  / asthma attacks again as it happened during my very first BJJ class. And I gotta stopped halfway to head home to rest😰

How was the experience?

Due to the vomiting experience in first class, I actually asked demanded Carol accompany for the personal training class LOL. The main reason was to record, second is that will require a partner and third was that I know Carol wanted to try out BJJ too HAHA.

So we both attended BJJ, my second class but it was her first time. Actually, it was not as scary as I thought it would be that intense like the first class. So coach Kong was kind enough to allow me to record the session for personal project usage. Since we both are considered newbie and beginner in BJJ, so he focused on teaching us the fundamentals by breaking down each movement. So, I would say this personal training is just solely on fundamentals learning whereas the first class that I attended was a mixture with other students (white, blue and purple belts). Therefore, it explains the intensity and the difference.

Knowing that wasn't really conquering my fear from this personal training class, I actually booked and went for the 3rd class (which is back to the mixture class with the Major). Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to record in the Major's class for some privacy reasons. So, I don't have any 3rd class footages in the video. But in conclusion for 3rd class, I did not puke! Yassss! I think it's because I learnt to pace out myself in the warm-up session as opposed to trying to keep up with all the geng-cao students's move LOL. No jokes, they're darn fcking fast in most of the movements and techniques! 🤼‍♀️

Also thanks to the super friendly receptionist lady (sorry I forgot to ask her name). Special thanks to Pamela and Angela (I hope I got their names right) for being so patience in partnering with me and of course trying your best to not injure me hahaha (kidding). 🤝

Andd...... Of course, huge thanks to Carol's accompany for the personal training moments and I get to go at my own pace now.  Don't get mad at me for not asking your permission hahaha. I know you wanna try out BJJ too one. LOL. Remember I filled up your name and contact in my emergency okay. 🤣
