Fear 06 – Dress something pattern (floral)

What's the challenge?

To get out of my comfort zone when it comes to clothing and buys some floral clothing as opposed to all my plain color garments from Uniqlo...

What are you afraid of?

I'm afraid of looking odd and not being able to pull it off.

How was the experience?

When it comes to clothing I want to be comfortable, look good but try not to risk too much. Otherwise, my mom gonna nag me non-stop again for buying something that I will only use once or twice. So, most of the time I will try to play safe with my favourite just plain colors garment – Uniqlo all the way from top to bottom haha.

I kinda trained my eyes over the years to avoid anything with patterns at the stores so it was hard to focus on those pieces of clothing now and overlook all the plain.- Michelle

I couldn't agree more with that. And it feels kinda 'weird' for me to now paying attention to look at those patterns and floral especially.

So, I visited H&M, Cotton On and some random boutique at a few different places. But due to most doesn't fit or ran out of stock or items had some flaws, I just went back to H&M. Quite liking the thin material as nowadays the weather was pretty darn hot like BBQ in Singapore. I guess I'm looking for another pattern  / floral dress soon. Spotted one the other day but was rushing off to other places... Okay next time. :P
